Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, enterprise-grade Flutter applications for Android and iOS.
- Own endtoend mobile delivery, ensuring engineering quality, performance, and alignment with broader platform goals.
- Define coding standards, reusable component libraries, architectural patterns, and best practices for Flutter development.
- Provide robust technical leadership, mentoring developers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and technical coaching.
- Collaborate closely with product, UX, backend, QA, and DevOps teams, ensuring seamless integration and predictable delivery.
- Make key technical decisions around state management, architecture, performance, and tooling across app modules.
- Oversee performance optimization, security, memory efficiency, and overall application quality.
- Lead release management, app store submissions, deployment readiness, and postrelease monitoring.
- Evaluate and recommend new Flutter capabilities, plugins, libraries, and architecture improvements for enterprise adoption.
- Continuously enhance mobile experiences for key insurance workflows such as quote, issuance, payments, renewal, endorsements, and claims.
Education
- BE / B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience & Skills
- 7 to 9 years of mobile app development experience with strong leadership responsibilities and deep expertise in Flutter & Dart.
- Strong understanding of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, UI rendering, and complex UI composition.
- Advanced experience with state management frameworks including Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, or GetX.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and secure backend integrations.
- Expertise with Firebase (push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, performance tracking).
- Handson experience with Android/iOS build systems, signing, packaging, and store deployment processes.
