Role & responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting laboratory and site testing of civil construction materials, including soil, concrete, bricks, bitumen, paver blocks, aggregates, sand and concrete cubes.
- The role involves performing concrete mix design, compressive strength testing and other material tests as per applicable IS/ASTM standards and approved test methods.
- The candidate will also carry out site testing such as soil compaction, Core Cutter testing, Rebound Hammer and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) testing.
- Responsibilities include sample handling, test execution, preparation of test reports, maintenance of testing records and ensuring NABL compliance with laboratory quality procedures and safety requirements.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Experience in a civil material testing laboratory or construction site testing.
- Experience in handling laboratory testing equipment and preparing test reports.
- Knowledge of NABL/ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory practices will be an added advantage.
