Detailed Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for key assets like shearing machines, bending presses, welding stations, shot blasting machines and overhead cranes used in pipe support fabrication.
- Lead a team of technicians and fitters, assigning tasks, conducting performance reviews, and providing training on safety protocols and equipment handling specific to MS material processing.
- Manage maintenance budgets, procure spare parts/spares from vendors, and negotiate service contracts while tracking costs to align with production targets and job work timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis for breakdowns using tools like 5-Why or FMEA, implement downtime reduction strategies, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or local factory regulations.
