We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Backend Developer (Java) to join our team in Hyderabad/Bengaluru. In this role, youll help build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs that power our web and mobile applications.
Youll work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver reliable backend systems that directly impact the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Java 11 or above) and Spring Boot/Dropwizard.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
- Integrate and manage data in PostgreSQL database.
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups,
and sprint planning.
- Debug and resolve performance and reliability issues in backend systems.
- Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, testing, and documentation
- Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Around 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java or similar languages
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Must have knowledge of:
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- Git
- RESTful APIs
- Object-oriented programming
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, on-site environment
