Alcor Solutions is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer. This is a remote job chance. Immediate joiners/candidates who can join on short notice will be given preference. Hands-on experience on ServiceNow will be an added advantage.

As a Quality Engineer, you will be a key member of the Service Management team driving the quality of our products and services. As part of the Quality Engineering team, you will work test strategies, and build testing frameworks. Your will get an opportunity to learn, work and contribute on the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with clients and must demonstrate individual, functional and professional knowledge to ensure work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber.

Responsibilities:

Develop project test strategy and test plan.
Maintain existing automation test frameworks.
Collect and report quality metrics from test execution.
Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them.
Create test cases and supporting test data to ensure data adequately tests all testable situations.




Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments.
Perform test designs for assigned elements in the test plan.
Ensure test designs meet quality objectives as set out in the project test plan.
Establish test data repositories for system testing efforts.
Document, review a nd test governance and audit general application controls if applicable.
May oversee the test design, test case and data creation processes
Update and maintain regression tests and design new regression tests suites.
Create and maintain performance test runs and data
Execute project test cases and test plans details
Execute regression tests
Assume ownership for specific sections of the test execution plans as assigned.
Conductor monitor performance/stress testing and perform other specialized tests.
May oversee test execution.
