Role & responsibilities
- Independently manage end-to-end GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C filings for multiple clients/entities.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase register and resolve input tax credit (ITC) mismatches.
- Handle GST notices, replies, and coordination with the department for assessments, audits, and refunds.
- Finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statement as per applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize books of accounts for proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, and companies.
- Manage TDS compliance including calculation, deduction, deposit, and filing of quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q).
- Handle Income Tax compliances including advance tax computation, tax audit (Form 3CD), and ITR filings for various assessees.
- Prepare computation of income for individuals, firms, and companies under different heads of income.




- Coordinate with statutory auditors during audits and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports for clients on a periodic basis.
- Conduct bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and general accounting review.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in Tally/other accounting software.
- Assist in ROC compliances and coordination with the company law team wherever required.
- Review and finalize depreciation schedules as per Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
- Handle client queries related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, and general accounting matters.
- Prepare working papers, schedules, and documentation to support finalization of accounts.
- Ensure adherence to statutory due dates and maintain a compliance tracker for all clients.
- Guide and supervise junior accountants/articles in day-to-day accounting and compliance tas
