Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Stores Manager
to oversee the complete store operations at our construction site. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inventory management, material handling, inward and outward logistics, stock reconciliation, and ERP-based store management within the real estate or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the site stores efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials as per Purchase Orders.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, preservation, and identification of construction materials.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards, and inventory records.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.




- Coordinate with Procurement, Project, Accounts, and QA/QC teams for material planning and availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions to avoid stock shortages.
- Ensure proper documentation for inward, outward, returnable, and non-returnable materials.
- Manage vendor deliveries and verify delivery challans, invoices, and quality certificates.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Minimize material wastage, pilferage, and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Supervise store assistants and maintain discipline within the stores department.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of construction materials (Cement, Steel, MEP, Finishing Materials, Electrical & Plumbing Items).
