Healthrecon Connect is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Collections and RCM Analyst

The Assistant Manager AR Collections is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, maximizing reimbursements, and improving overall collection performance. The role involves team management, client communication, KPI monitoring, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and organizational standards.

Role & responsibilities
- Candidate must have good experience in RCM - AR collections with Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine experience.
- Lead and manage the AR Collections team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims.
- Analyze AR trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure adherence to client SLAs, quality standards,



and productivity benchmarks.
- Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, coaching, and feedback sessions.
- Review denial trends and collaborate with internal teams to minimize recurring issues.
- Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Coordinate with clients regarding escalations, process updates, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, client-specific guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance collections and reduce AR days.
- Manage escalations related to payer issues, appeals, and complex accounts.
- Collaborate with Billing, Coding, Payment Posting, and Denials Management teams to improve revenue cycle performance.

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Robust knowledge of the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management process.
