Role Definition
Responsible for ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of Paint Shop equipment with a robust focus on ABB robotic painting systems, automation controls, and maintenance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ABB painting robots and Core controllers.
- Perform robot calibration, mastering, backup, and diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and industrial networks.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive TPM initiatives.
- Support paint booths, ovens, conveyors, pretreatment systems, pumps, and utilities.
- Ensure EHS compliance and implement LOTO procedures.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- ABB Robotics certification preferred.
Experience
- 6 10 years of Paint Shop Maintenance experience.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on ABB Robotics experience.
- Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments.
