Our technology platform supports order processing, ERP connectivity, retailer integrations, ecommerce operations, EDI, fulfilment and internal reporting. As the business scales, we are building a stronger engineering capability with transparent ownership, reliable systems and robust operational processes.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Engineering Manager / Platform Lead
to build and lead a newly established remote engineering team and take ownership of the technical foundations of the Go10 platform.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining engineering management, platform ownership and operational responsibility. You will inherit an established ecosystem of backend services, databases,
infrastructure and retailer integrations, some of which is under-documented and currently dependent on individual knowledge.
Your initial focus will be to understand the platform, establish technical and operational control, document the estate, reduce key-person dependency and build a high-performing engineering team capable of supporting and developing the platform independently.
The platform includes .NET Core and Java services, PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, ERP integrations, ecommerce marketplaces, retailer dropship connections and multiple EDI feeds. Infrastructure is primarily self-hosted on European virtual machines, with Cloudflare at the edge.
You will report directly to the Head of Digital Platforms in the UK and act as the senior technical and engineering leader for the remote team.
