Role Summary

At AliveCor, we imagine a healthier world powered by access to personalized intelligent information. The Software Engineer, will be an integral member of our engineering team, responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining high-availability microservices that process millions of critical heart health measurements. This role directly contributes to AliveCors mission of transforming cardiological care by building industry-leading, FDA-cleared software that connects consumers and clinicians with life-saving data.

Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance iOS applications.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable code using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.




- Identify and fix bugs, memory leaks, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store.
- Stay up to date with the latest iOS technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Core iOS Development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience in iOS application development with a strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) with the ability to write productive, optimized, and scalable code.
- Knowledge of multithreading using Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and Swift Concurrency (async/await).
- AI & Emerging Technologies
- Experience working with AI-powered development tools such as Claude AI or GitHu
