Job Summary

The Dean (Multiple Departments) provides academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for multiple departments within the institution. The role is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, promoting research and innovation, managing faculty and resources, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and supporting student success across the assigned departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for multiple academic departments.
- Develop and implement academic policies, plans, and quality standards.
- Supervise Heads of Departments (HODs) and monitor departmental performance.
- Coordinate curriculum development, review, and accreditation activities.
- Promote research, innovation, publications, and team-oriented projects.
- Prepare and manage budgets, resources, and infrastructure for assigned departments.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and academic staff.
- Ensure compliance with university regulations, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance standards.




- Foster collaboration among departments and encourage interdisciplinary programs.
- Monitor student academic progress, retention, and overall educational quality.
- Represent the assigned departments in university committees and external academic forums.
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance academic excellence and institutional growth.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
- Significant teaching, research, and academic leadership experience.
- Experience managing multiple academic departments or faculties is preferred.
