who can bridge engineering and business by demonstrating products, conducting flight trials,
supporting government opportunities, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
Role Overview
The UAV Drone Technical Sales & Flight Test Engineer will support enterprise, government, and
defense business development through technical demonstrations, flight testing, product
evaluations, and customer engagement. The role requires hands-on UAV flying skills, technical
understanding of drone systems, and close coordination with R&D;, procurement, and business
teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct live UAV demonstrations, flight trials, proof of concepts (PoCs), and customer
evaluations.
• Support technical discussions with enterprise, defense, Army, police, and government customers.
• Plan and execute flight tests while ensuring DGCA and safety compliance.
• Coordinate product evaluations, user acceptance trials (UATs), and field deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution presentations, and demonstration reports.
• Work with R&D; to validate current products, payloads, and customer requirements.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), payload configurations, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for component selection and product
readiness.
• Support tender technical documentation and compliance requirements.
• Represent IZI at exhibitions, customer meetings, and defense demonstrations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aerospace, Electronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or
related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in UAVs, drones, robotics, or defense technology.
• Hands-on experience operating UAVs for demonstrations, testing, or deployments.
