Role Overview
Handles financial onboarding and payouts for freelance instructors on our EdTech platform. This is an execution-focused role — verifying KYC, onboarding freelancers, and processing weekly payouts — and does not involve accounting, ledger reconciliation, or audit work.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify user KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar, bank details) submitted by freelancers and instructors.
- Manage freelancer onboarding — collect KYC and bank details, and set up payee profiles.
- Process weekly payouts to freelancers/instructors based on approved hours or sessions.
- Handle payment disputes and payout queries, coordinating with freelancers until resolved.
- Flag any mismatched documents, incorrect bank details, or suspicious requests to the reporting manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce background preferred, not mandatory).
- 1–3 years of experience in payments, payouts, or KYC verification.
- Basic understanding of KYC documents and digital payment/payout methods (UPI, NEFT/IMPS).
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking payout data.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and good with follow-ups and coordination.
