KPI Partners is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data engineering with expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Python, and SQL. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data integration processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain data models using DBT to ensure high-quality and reliable data for analytics.
- Create and manage workflows using Apache Airflow for scheduling and monitoring ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists,
and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency in large datasets within Snowflake.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Document data engineering processes and maintain code repositories following best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Snowflake.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and ETL tasks.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with data orchestration tools, specifically Apache Airflow.
- Experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling is a plus.
