Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with robust expertise in Fixture Design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing welding fixtures, checking fixtures, assembly fixtures, machining fixtures, and inspection fixtures for automotive and industrial automation applications. Experience in SPM machine design will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop welding, checking, assembly, machining, and inspection fixtures.
- Prepare 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks .
- Perform fixture concept development based on customer requirements and process flow.
- Design locator units, clamp units, rest units, pin units, base structures, and pneumatic clamping systems.
- Prepare complete BOM, assembly drawings, child part drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure fixture accuracy,



repeatability, accessibility, and ease of maintenance.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Assembly, Quality, and Project teams during fabrication and assembly.
- Support fixture trials, debugging, installation, and customer approvals.
- Implement design modifications based on trial results and customer feedback.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Fixture Design (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in Welding Fixtures, Checking Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures, Machining Fixtures, and Inspection Fixtures.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of pneumatic components and standard mechanical elements.
- Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and BOM.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Automotive Fixture Design.
- Knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) fix
