We are seeking an experienced Murex Environments SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Murex services, robust Linux administration and shell scripting skills, and hands-on experience with Murex CI/CD processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and automation of our Murex environments, supporting both project delivery and ongoing operations.

Lead Software Engineer / Murex Core Profile

Technical
- Robust SQL / Oracle / PL-SQL.
- Unix / Shell scripting.
- Java / XML.
- Able to debug across database, scripts and Murex runtime without hand-offs.

Murex Platform (non-negotiable)
- Deep MX.3 experience.
- Workflows.
- Trade processing.
- Interfaces.
- MxML.




- Workflow engine including post-trade and lifecycle processing.
- Core domains: Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office.
- Risk.
- Collateral.
- Reporting.
- MXconfig.
- MXtest.

Engineering
- CI/CD.
- Jenkins.
- Git.
- Controlled release management.
- Testing and deployment support.

Domain Knowledge
- Trade lifecycle.
- FX products.
- Rates products.
- Credit products.
- Finance and risk awareness.
- P&L; and sensitivities understanding

Senior Expectations
- Take a Front Office / Operations requirement.
- Design and build the solution.
- Integrate it.
- Debug production issues independently.
- Minimise escalation dependency.
