Job Purpose :
- To play the central role between the Corporate Coverage team RH/SRM/RM and all the control function teams in order to facilitate the inorganic book / PSL book growth of the Bank through portfolio acquisition of retail loan portfolios.
- To interface with Compliance and Audit functions for providing a comprehensive & cohesive response to regulator queries and manage audits/inspections.
- To guide and assist in helping build Priority Sector Lending (PSL) Book through the use of Portfolio Buyouts.
- Be able to connect with ancilliary service providers like trustees, rating agencies, legal counsel to assist / co-ordinate for transaction closures, keep abreast of market developments, understand interpretations from the point of law etc.
- Core Business skills required:
- Valuable knowledge of PSL criteria and practical applications of it will be a requisite.
- Good understanding and knowledge of RBI Guidelines on Securitisation and Transfer of Loan Exposures to enable proper execution of transactions.
- Adequate understanding of retail assets and the related processes associated with the same. This will enable better engagement with RM's when executing transactions and also provide in-depth responses to the regulator/audits.
Roles & Responsibilities:
'1. Keep abreast of market developments, transaction structures happening in the market, industry volumes.
- Annual updation of the product note and the SOP’s as per the Bank’s guidelines.
- Monitor the existing portfolio performance and highlight triggers to the Coverage team as applicable.
- Co od with all stakeholders in order to respond to RBI queries as may be sent from time to time and handle the annual inspection.
- Assist the Coverage team in transaction closures by guiding them on the processes, compliances, norms etc. as may be required.
