Job Title: Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer with 1015 years of experience in EPC or Engineering Consulting organizations serving process industries. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in electrical design engineering for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Water Treatment projects, with solid expertise across FEED, detailed engineering, power system studies, and international design standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering activities from FEED through detailed engineering and project handover.
- Prepare and review Electrical Design Basis Documents and project-specific electrical procedures.
- Perform and validate power system studies, including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, and Relay Coordination studies.
- Review and approve cable sizing, battery and UPS sizing, lighting, and earthing calculations.
- Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs),



electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and power & control wiring diagrams.
- Review equipment datasheets, cable schedules, junction box schedules, and hazardous area documentation.
- Lead the design of substations, electrical layouts, earthing systems, and 3D electrical models.
- Support procurement through material take-offs, technical specifications, and vendor document reviews.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop inspection and test plans (ITP), factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, and site testing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and international electrical standards.
