About the Role
We are looking for a creative
Freelance Video Editor
who specializes in editing engaging
Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
. If you have a passion for creating viral content with smooth transitions, captions, trending effects, and storytelling, we'd love to work with you.
Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos, and YouTube Shorts.
- Add engaging captions, animations, emojis, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks within the first few seconds.
- Maintain brand consistency across all videos.
- Deliver videos within agreed timelines.
- Suggest creative ideas to improve engagement and reach.
Requirements
- Experience editing short-form videos for social media.
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Robust understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn content trends.
- Ability to create viral-style edits.
- Good communication skills.
- Must have a portfolio of previous work.
Preferred
- Experience working with influencers or corporate brands.
- Knowledge of AI video editing tools.
- Basic motion graphics skills.
Payment
- Per Reel / Per Project / Monthly Retainer (Based on discussion)
