Job Summary:
We are hiring a
Electrical & Estimation Engineer
with hands-on experience in LT electrical panels such as PCC, MCC, DBs, and Capacitor Panels. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of switchgear components, layouts, and costing practices. This role is crucial for preparing accurate and competitive technical-commercial offers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quotations with GA, SLD, and BOM for LT panels.
- Interpret customer specifications for accurate costing.
- Apply knowledge of Type-2 coordination, busbar sizing, and component selection.
- Perform temperature rise calculations and select appropriate switchgear.
- Use MS Excel for costing, reporting, and documentation.
- Create or edit basic GA drawings in AutoCAD or Excel.
- Handle client queries and participate in technical discussions.
- Coordinate with production, design, and purchase teams to align estimates.
- Manage multiple estimations and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in LT panel costing and estimation.
- Strong understanding of LT switchgear components and standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
