We are looking for an experienced Mining Engineer with a strong background in underground mining operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mine planning, production, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. The candidate should also possess strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise underground mining operations to achieve production targets.
- Monitor daily mining activities and ensure secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory mining regulations, environmental standards, and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize mine development and production activities.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, operational data,
and performance metrics using Microsoft Excel.
- Develop presentations and reports for management reviews and operational meetings using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement operational best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of safety initiatives.
- Monitor equipment utilization and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mining activities and operational records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
- Valid Mining Engineer certification/license (if applicable as per statutory requirements).
- 4+ years of experience in underground mining operations.
- Strong understanding of underground mining methods, mine planning, ventilation, and safety practices.
- Knowledge of mining regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, and dashboards
