1) Lead efforts in clinical reporting and sign-offs within acceptable standards in the assigned laboratories.
2) Review, interpret and authorize clinical pathology test results.
3) Ensure positive clinical norms and TATs without compromising on quality and accuracy.
4) Lead efforts in ensuring medical correlation of results and abiding by the recheck policy of the laboratory.
5) Participate in proficiency testing/ILC/EQAS testing programs at the assigned laboratories.
6) Lead efforts to ensure adequate documentation/training to meet the needs of the laboratory.
7) Verification of laboratory test performance specifications.
8) Assist in selection of test methodology.
9) Assist in quality control program to monitor ongoing test performance.
10) Undertaking corrective actions,
identification of root cause analysis and implementation of CAPA were required.
11) Resolution of technical problems and ensuring that remedial actions are taken and ensure that patient results are not reported until corrective actions are taken and test systems are functioning properly.
12) Ensure compliance to laboratory safety, biohazard handling and infection control standards.
13) Adhere to the lab's Quality Management System.
14) Active participation in Tumor Boards as required.
Actively lead & participate in scientific publications, awareness articles, insights, scientific conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Preferred candidate profile
MBBS/MD/PhD with experience in analysing clinical reports
