Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
OSS (Open Source Software) Consultant
to support the design, migration, deployment, and optimisation of open-source workplace and collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in open-source office suites, document collaboration platforms, and Microsoft 365 environments, with the ability to guide clients through successful digital workplace transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver migrations from Microsoft 365 to open-source alternatives such as
LibreOffice, OnlyOffice, Collabora, and Nextcloud
.
- Design and implement document collaboration and productivity solutions in on-premise, private cloud, or hybrid environments.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between Microsoft Office formats and open-source document standards.
- Conduct client workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations.




- Prepare high-level and low-level solution designs.
- Support deployment, user adoption, training, and change management activities.
- Advise clients on reducing software licensing costs through open-source technologies.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in OSS consulting, workplace transformation, or software migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of:
- LibreOffice
- OnlyOffice
- Collabora Online
- Nextcloud
- Open-source collaboration platforms
- Good understanding of:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Identity & Access Management
- Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure
- Experience with solution architecture, deployment, and migration planning.
- Ability to deliver customer workshops, training sessions, and technical presentations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
