Job Description (JD) – Tech Lead (Pern Stack)

Position Title: Tech Lead (Pern Stack)

Department: Product Engineering / Software Development

Reports To: Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead Supervises: N/A

Location: Gurugram

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Tech Lead PERN Stack to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions using the PERN Stack (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). The candidate will be responsible for leading the development team, defining architecture, ensuring coding standards, mentoring developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

 Lead end-to-end development of web applications using PERN stack technologies.

 Define application architecture, coding standards, and development best practices.

 Review system design, database architecture, APIs, and frontend implementations.

 Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.





 Drive technical discussions and solution planning.

Development & Architecture

Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

 Build responsive and reusable frontend components using React.js.

 Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and indexing.

 Develop REST APIs and third-party integrations.

 Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

Team Management

 Lead and mentor a team of frontend/backend developers.

 Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.

 Assist in sprint planning, task estimation, and technical decision-making.

 Coordinate with QA, DevOps, Product Managers, and Project Managers.

DevOps & Deployment

 Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

 Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud deployment and monitoring.

 Ensure logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting
