Financial Accounting
- Maintain complete books of accounts and general ledger.
- Pass and review journal, purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and contra entries.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing.
- Prepare trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet schedules.
- Reconcile all ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up for collections.
- Prepare ageing reports for debtors and creditors.
- Perform vendor and customer reconciliations.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Ensure timely TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Assist in Income Tax compliance.
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants for statutory matters.
Banking & Treasury
- Handle day-to-day banking transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks regarding loans, working capital limits, bank guarantees, and letters of credit.
- Monitor cash flow and fund requirements.
Payroll & Employee Reimbursements
- Verify payroll accounting entries.
- Process employee reimbursements and advances.
- Ensure statutory deductions are accounted for correctly.
Inventory & Fixed Assets
- Maintain inventory accounting records.
- Verify stock reconciliations with stores.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Calculate depreciation as per applicable accounting standards.
Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate with statutory, tax, GST, and internal auditors.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents required during audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Prepare cash flow statements and fund position reports.
- Conduct expense analysis and variance reporting.
- Support management with financial data for business decisions.
ERP & Documentation
- Maintain accurate accounting records in ERP/T
