About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer- Python with expertise in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and platform services that power contemporary data and AI applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python-based backend development, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and microservices, along with exposure to data engineering and modern data platforms.

This role requires a self-driven engineer who can independently design and develop backend services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the architecture of enterprise-scale platforms supporting analytics, AI, machine learning, and real-time data applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Backend Platform Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Flask.
- Build high-performance microservices and distributed systems for data and AI-driven applications.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering best practices.




- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement robust authentication, authorization, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
2. Distributed Systems & Data Processing
- Develop backend services that integrate with large-scale data platforms and analytics systems.
- Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows using technologies such as Kafka, Apache Beam, and Apache Flink.
- Design scalable solutions for high-volume data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Work with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue, Dataflow, or equivalent technologies.
3. Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
