Discipline Lead – Management
to lead the delivery and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of management programmes.
- Ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Provide academic leadership and guidance to programme teams and module convenors.
- Monitor programme quality, student engagement and academic performance.
- Support curriculum development and programme enhancement initiatives.
- Supervise student projects and dissertations while providing timely academic feedback.
- Contribute to student recruitment, admissions and enrolment activities.




- Ensure compliance with Birkbeck academic regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Foster collaboration across academic teams to enhance the overall student experience.

Essential Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent) in Management or a related discipline, or extensive professional practice in the field.
- Demonstrated experience leading undergraduate and/or postgraduate Management programmes.
- Strong knowledge of Management as an academic discipline.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Experience in teaching, curriculum development and academic quality assurance.
- Commitment to student success, diversity and academic excellence.

Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
