Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Perform in-depth analysis of security alerts.
- Investigate potential incidents using SIEM, EDR, network, and log analysis tools.
- Execute incident response actions including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct threat hunting based on IOCs, TTPs, and emerging threat intelligence.
- Create and refine detection rules, runbooks, and SOC procedures.
- Coordinate with IT, security teams, and stakeholders during active incidents.
- Document findings, root causes, and corrective actions in incident reports.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- 1 4 years of SOC, incident response, or cybersecurity operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, ELK).
- Hands-on experience with EDR tools, network security, and malware analysis basics.
- Understanding of MITRE ATTCK, threat intel, and blue team methodologies.
- Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (preferred): Security+, CEH+, GCIA, GCIH, or similar.
