Hiring: Lead Design Engineer Material Handling Equipment
Location: Pune

We are looking for an experienced Lead Design Engineer with expertise in 2D & 3D AutoCAD and Material Handling Equipment design to join our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify 2D & 3D AutoCAD layouts and detailed engineering drawings.
Lead engineering planning, layout engineering, and specification engineering activities.
Coordinate with customers and consultants to resolve technical queries.
Prepare engineering plans and support cost, effort, and schedule estimations.
Design components with a strong focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Perform component modeling and BOM creation/optimization.
Support documentation and drawing reproduction activities.
Coordinate engineering activities from concept layout through detailed design.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.




Gain knowledge of the Vanderlande Equipment Portfolio and apply it in project execution.
Lead and mentor a team of design engineers.
Prepare technical reports and presentations.

Required Skills:
5–8 years of experience in 2D & 3D AutoCAD
Experience in Material Handling Equipment design
Strong knowledge of Layout Engineering and Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Experience in Component Modeling and BOM Optimization
Ability to coordinate with customers and consultants
Team leadership and project coordination skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Proactive, quick learner, and willing to take on recent challenges
