SambalPay is looking for an energetic and proactive
Strategic Partnerships Intern
who enjoys connecting with people, building professional relationships, and contributing to the growth of a start-up.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and connect with potential partners, including banks, NBFCs, fintech companies, Account Aggregators, credit bureaus, and technology providers.

• Reach out to relevant stakeholders through LinkedIn, email, industry events, and other channels.

• Schedule introductory meetings and coordinate conversations with potential partners.

• Prepare partnership presentations, proposals, meeting notes, and follow-up communication.

• Maintain and regularly update the partnership pipeline and outreach tracker.

• Follow up with potential partners and support the team in moving conversations forward.

• Work closely with the founding team to explore partnership opportunities,



product integrations, and business collaborations.

• Support relationship management with existing and potential partners.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Confidence in reaching out to professionals and starting conversations.

• Interest in partnerships, business development, fintech, lending, or start-ups.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Excel or Google Sheets, and presentation tools.

• Good coordination and relationship-building skills.

• An organised and proactive approach to work.

• Willingness to take ownership and work in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Bonus Points

• Previous internship experience in partnerships, business development, sales, consulting, or a start-up.

• Basic understanding of the Indian fintech or lending ecosystem.

• Experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, Google Workspace, or CRM platforms.
