About the role

The Rich Diary is looking for a
Freelance Lead Research & Outreach Assistant
to support business development for our content and copywriting studio.

The role is primarily focused on finding relevant businesses and decision-makers, organising verified lead information, supporting personalised LinkedIn and email outreach, and tracking follow-ups.

This is
not a bulk messaging or spam-based role
. The priority is thoughtful research, accurate information and relevant conversations.

Key responsibilities
- Research businesses that fit The Rich Diary’s target customer profile
- Identify relevant decision-makers such as founders, marketing heads and growth managers
- Find and verify skilled email addresses and LinkedIn profiles
- Maintain organised lead sheets with complete and accurate information
- Support personalised LinkedIn and email prospecting
- Track outreach, replies, follow-ups and lead status
- Help identify prospects suitable for our core services and our entry-level

Ideal candidate
- Has prior experience in lead generation, prospect research or business development support
- Understands LinkedIn and email-based outreach
- Is comfortable researching founders, startups, agencies and growing businesses
- Pays close attention to accuracy and organisation
- Can distinguish a genuinely relevant lead from a generic contact
- Communicates clearly and works independently
- Experience working with a creative agency, content studio or service-based business is an advantage

Engagement

This is a
paid freelance engagement
, beginning with a small trial assignment. The scope may expand into ongoing monthly support based on the quality of research, consistency and results.
