As we expand and modernize our production capabilities, we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Doddaballapur, Karnataka.
Role Overview
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and safety of all production machinery, automation systems, and plant utilities. You will lead a team of technicians, implement robust preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshoot advanced automated food processing and packaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine & Automation Management
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of advanced automation machines, PLC-driven systems, SCADA, robotics, and high-speed packaging lines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic faults promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Partner with automation vendors for software updates, system integrations, and equipment upgrades.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Design, implement, and track a comprehensive Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedule for all plant machinery and utilities (boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water treatment plants).
- Analyze equipment breakdown data to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
3. Team Leadership & Safety
- Lead, mentor, and schedule shifts for a team of maintenance technicians and electricians.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP) and general industrial safety regulations.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards during engineering interventions in production areas.
