Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (Express/Fastify).
- Build and optimize RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for performance and reliability.
- Design and manage databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), ensuring efficient schema and queries.
- Implement secure, containerized microservices using Docker and manage deployments via GitHub Actions.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and best coding practices.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES2020+) and core backend concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js or Fastify.
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows.
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a quick-paced environment.
