We are looking for a licensed and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe dispensing of medicines, provide accurate pharmaceutical guidance, manage inventory, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medicines accurately as per doctor's prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Counsel customers on medicine usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Recommend appropriate OTC medicines and healthcare products.
- Maintain complete compliance with Pharmacy Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired or damaged products.
- Manage medicine inventory, stock replenishment, and procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for medicine availability and stock management.
- Handle narcotic and Schedule H/H1/X medicines as per legal guidelines.
- Maintain billing accuracy and prescription records.
- Support online and quick-commerce orders by verifying prescriptions before dispatch.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines, including temperature-sensitive products.
- Assist customers with health-related queries and product recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the pharmacy.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day store functioning.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council (Mandatory)
- Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome (1–3 years preferred)
