We are seeking a visionary and highly technical Automation Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to lead our quality engineering strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of designing scalable automation frameworks from the ground up and driving testing excellence across multiple markets. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless delivery within Agile and DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Define and drive the global automation strategy across multiple markets. Act as a self-governing leader who can set technical roadmaps and execute them with minimal supervision.
- Framework Design: Architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks using modern technologies.
- DevOps Integration: Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid delivery.
- Stakeholder Management:
Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to align testing objectives with business goals.
- Technical Governance: Establish best practices for automation coding standards, tool selection, and testing methodologies across the organization.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers and SDETs to elevate the overall technical capability of the team.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Automation: Expert-level proficiency in Selenium with Java and up-to-date tools like Playwright and Karate.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Deep knowledge of GitHub and experience working within DevOps workflows to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Agile Methodologies: Extensive experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, and driving iterative delivery.
