We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with an ownership mindset to join our team as a Systems Engineer/Lead of Trading Technology. The candidate will report into CTO and work closely with the team which handles the Retail & Algo Trading Application and Infrastructure setup, live support and maintenance for an elite trading group.
Qualification & Background
Domain specific
- Familiarity with Indian Stock Exchanges
- Ability to understand server setup, network architecture and backend processes/structure of the Trading applications and Log Files.
- Prior work experience in technology team/production support team at any stockbrokers as Trading Application Support.
- Knowledge of Trading Software like Omnesys, Greeksoft, etc. and knowledge of Exchange connectivity are desirable.
Technology Specific
- 10+ years' experience in Windows administration, network configuration, active directory management.
- Prior experience with server virtualization, physical to virtual server migrations, designing and maintaining high availability servers with replication and failover mechanisms.
- 10+ years of experience in Linux and Linux based platforms along with shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Python is desirable and a plus
- Knowledge on infrastructure monitoring tools is desirable
- Knowledge of DevOps tools is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Live Support and Maintenance of Trading Applications
- Ensuring Error free BOD, EOD processes & high uptimes for Trading applications
- iOS/Application-level patch deployments and upgrades for Trading applications, log analysis, BAU activities involving Production & UAT environments.
- Setup and live support for Performance & Infra Monitoring.
