Job Description: -
- Knowledge of mechanical structural design & related manufacturing processes
Ability to handle the project in 3D CAD modelling environments, hands on the large assembly.
- Bill of material and Revision management of design/manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of ECN/ECR process.
- Basic knowledge of Hydraulic , electrical, pneumatic circuit
- Ability to create design documentation & calculations.
- User level Knowledge & exposure of PLM (Teamcenter etc.) and ERP (SAP, Oracle NetSuite etc.) is advantageous.
- Highly organized - Excellent follow through and follow up skills; results and delivery oriented
- Able to multi-task a variety of duties and work requests
- Key member of multidisciplinary teams providing leadership on projects from concept design to final commissioning and user handover.
- Provides leadership, quality assurance oversight and technical guidance to the mechanical engineers and technologists within the business unit.
- Having design background, in the below fields is desirable a) Fire/foam trucks
b) Liquid waste management products
c) Truck superstructures like load bodies, tippers etc.
d) Heavy machinery
