1. Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities across production, warehouse, office, canteen, and common areas.
- Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.
- Monitor housekeeping quality and take corrective actions when required.
2. Team Management
- Supervise and allocate work to housekeeping staff and contract workers.
- Prepare duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity of housekeeping employees.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene practices, and safe chemical handling.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and shift briefings.
3. Cleaning & Sanitation
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of:
- Production floors and processing areas
- Equipment exteriors
- Cold storage and freezer areas
- Warehouse and dispatch areas
- Offices, meeting rooms, and reception
- Toilets, washrooms, and locker rooms
- Canteen and dining areas
- Waste collection points
- Verify that cleaning is completed as per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
4. Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- GMP (Valuable Manufacturing Practices)
- GHP (Good Hygiene Practices)
- HACCP requirements
- FSSAI regulations
- ISO 22000 / BRCGS / FSSC 22000 standards (as applicable)
- Prevent cross-contamination by following approved cleaning procedures.
- Ensure proper cleaning tool segregation and color coding where applicable.
5. Chemical & Equipment Management
- Ensure proper use, storage, and labeling of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and consumables.
- Monitor housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, pressure washers, and floor cleaning machines.
