Job Summary
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for generating recent business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical solutions that meet customer requirements. The role involves identifying prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, preparing techno-commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in assigned territories.
- Generate leads through cold calling, customer visits, referrals, and market research.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Increase market share by promoting the company's products and services.
Technical Support
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and technical discussions with customers.
- Prepare technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with the engineering and service teams to provide complete solutions.
- Resolve customer technical queries before and after sales.
Quotation & Proposal Management
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations.
- Follow up on submitted quotations until order closure.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Coordinate order processing with internal departments.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate timely resolution.
- Collect customer feedback for continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging indust
