BMS Engineer: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join our Building Management Systems (BMS) and Automation team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone looking to transition into the "brain" of building operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of building automation from field wiring and programming to advanced onsite commissioning. You will become an expert in industry-leading platforms, specifically Reliable Controls and Tridium, ensuring our MEP systems operate at peak efficiency and meet global standards like ASHRAE Guideline 36 and WELL Building Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Training: Master Control Basic programming language via Reliable Controls documentation. Complete the Tridium Training Lab guides to configure and manage Niagara-based frameworks. Study and implement ASHRAE Guideline 36 for high-performance sequence of operations.
- Engineering Programming: Design and execute Field Wiring for controllers, sensors, and actuators.
Develop and "tweak" standard programming logic for complex Base Builder MEP Systems: 1. Chiller Plants Cooling Towers. 2. Life Safety: Staircase Pressurization Smoke Extraction. 3. Ventilation: Basement Carpark (CO monitoring) and Common Area Vent. 4. Infrastructure: Integration with Water Supply, STP, and Irrigation. Customize controls for Tenant Fit-out Systems: Precision cooling for Hub/Server rooms. VAV, CVAHU, and VRF integration. Advanced Monitoring: Tenant Billing, Energy Management, and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) monitoring.
- Onsite Commissioning: Perform point-to-point checkouts of all hardware and field devices. Verify sequences of operation to ensure energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Troubleshoot communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
