Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing for capital equipment, EPC/EPCM contractors, civil works, MEP, automation, packaging machinery, and utility systems.
- Manage complete procurement lifecycle including RFI/RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, techno-commercial analysis, negotiations, and contract award.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships with OEMs, EPC partners, and engineering vendors.
- Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, warranties, delivery schedules, performance guarantees, and service agreements.
- Partner with Engineering and Project teams to convert technical requirements into procurement packages.
- Monitor procurement schedules, identify sourcing risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and budget control for Capex projects.
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit requirements, EHS standards, GST regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Quality, EHS, Legal,



and Project Management teams.

Skills Required

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA in Supply Chain or Operations is preferred.
- 5–7+ years of Capex or Engineering Procurement experience within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Personal Care, or similar manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience supporting greenfield or brownfield factory expansion projects.
- Hands-on experience sourcing process equipment, packaging lines, utilities, automation systems, and civil/MEP packages.
- Solid understanding of EPC/EPCM contracting models, FIDIC principles, and Indian commercial contracting practices.
- Experience with SAP MM or equivalent ERP systems; exposure to Ariba or other e-sourcing platforms is preferred.
- Good knowledge of GST, customs/import procedures, and statutory compliance related to capital procurement.
