About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment of conveyor-based equipment for industrial and environmental applications. The role will work closely with external design partners, and fabrication vendors to transform concepts into reliable, field-ready products.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a mix of design review, prototyping, vendor management, fabrication oversight, and field testing.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development
- Collaborate with external engineering and design partners on conveyor and equipment development projects.
- Review mechanical designs, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
- Support the integration of auxiliary systems such as cleaning mechanisms, aquatic conveyors, and custom attachments.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, manufacturability, safety, and cost.

Vendor & Fabrication Management




- Coordinate with conveyor manufacturers, fabricators, and component suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate technical proposals, and support vendor selection.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct inspections and resolve manufacturing issues.

Prototyping & Testing
- Plan and execute prototype builds and field trials.
- Identify and secure suitable testing locations and facilities.
- Collect performance data, document findings, and recommend design improvements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.

Project Coordination
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate activities between design partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain engineering documentation and testing records.
- Support deployment and commissioning activities when required.
