Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team at our Westhill, Calicut branch. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of accounting principles, be proficient in Tally and Microsoft Excel, and be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L;) Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Maintain and reconcile Ledger Accounts.
- Verify, prepare, and record Payment, Receipt, Journal, and Contra Vouchers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of:
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Ledger Management
- Voucher Entry & Verification
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- Age below 35 years.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
