ROLE PURPOSE / JOB SUMMARY

The Cyber Risk Consultant is a senior practitioner responsible for delivering end-to-end cybersecurity risk management services. With 7–8 years of focused experience, this role bridges technical cybersecurity knowledge with enterprise risk management principles to help the organisation identify, quantify, prioritise, and treat its cyber risks in a structured and defensible manner. The Cyber Risk Consultant works across business units and technology domains, producing risk intelligence that informs strategic and operational decision-making, and supports the development of risk-aware culture throughout the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cybersecurity risk assessments across business units, technology platforms, and critical processes,



applying structured methodologies to produce risk-rated findings with explicit business context.
- Maintain and evolve the cyber risk register, ensuring risks are accurately captured, consistently assessed, appropriately prioritised, and linked to treatment actions with defined owners and timelines.
- Develop and refine cyber risk assessment methodologies, scoring matrices, and reporting templates to ensure consistency and repeatability across the organisation.
- Produce cyber risk reports for varying audiences including technical teams, risk management committees, and executive leadership, tailoring the level of detail and language appropriately.
- Identify and monitor cyber risk scenarios relevant to the organisation, including third-party risks, supply chain vulnerabilities, emerging threat vectors, and regulatory compliance gaps.
- Design and maintain a Key Risk Indicator (KRI) library for cybersecurity risk, establishing monitoring thresholds and escalation protocols.
