About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in VMware virtualization, Windows and Linux server administration, enterprise storage, backup & disaster recovery, and network security. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of critical production systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers, ETERNUS SAN, and Synology NAS infrastructure.
- Administer VMware ESXi/vSphere virtual environments.
- Administer Windows Server, Linux servers, Windows Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Configure and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and disaster recovery.
- Administer Quantum LTO-7 Tape Systems for archival and recovery operations.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ASA Firewalls and Siemens Scalance Switches.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability across enterprise infrastructure.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure infrastructure security, patch management, antivirus administration, and compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
