Role & responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's operations, organisational structure, and end-to-end business processes.
- Work closely with the Head of Operations & Strategy to translate the owners' vision into strategic initiatives and long-term business plans.
- Conduct in-depth research on the furniture industry, market trends, customer expectations, and best practices to support business decision-making.
- Perform competitor analysis through online research and market visits to identify opportunities, benchmark performance, and strengthen the company's competitive position.
- Collaborate with every department to review existing processes, identify operational inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements.
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, tracking systems, and performance dashboards to improve organisational effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional strategic projects by developing project plans, managing timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely execution.




- Support strategic recruitment initiatives by assisting with workforce planning, recruitment processes, and onboarding to build high-performing teams.
- Assist in annual business planning, budgeting, quarterly business reviews, and leadership strategy offsites.
- Prepare qualified reports, presentations, business analyses, and internal communications for the leadership team.
- Provide administrative and project management support to the Head of Operations & Strategy to enable effective execution of business priorities.
- Take ownership of additional strategic initiatives and special projects as the business evolves.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or related field

3-5 years of experience as Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Strategic Consultant, Business Coordinator, or Project Manager
