Educational Qualification

· B.Tech / B.E. in Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering.

· M.Sc. in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D; Executive to support the development and evaluation of polymer and composite materials. The role involves formulation development, testing and analysis of resins and additives, troubleshooting production issues, and preparing technical reports. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with polymer characterization, laboratory testing, Lab and production trials and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation Development

· Develop and optimize formulations involving thermoset and thermoplastic polymers, resins, fillers, and additives.

· Evaluate recent raw materials and identify suitable alternatives for performance and cost improvement.

· Conduct laboratory trials for resin systems, curing agents, pigments,



flame retardants, and processing additives.

Testing and Analysis

· Perform physical, mechanical, thermal, and chemical testing of polymers and composites.

· Analyze resin properties such as viscosity, gel time, cure behavior, specific gravity, and solid content.

· Interpret test data and prepare technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.

Product Development and Process Support

· Assist in new product development and scale-up from laboratory to production.

· Support manufacturing teams in troubleshooting quality and processing issues.

Documentation and Compliance

· Maintain laboratory records, standard operating procedures, and test reports.

· Prepare technical datasheets and development summaries.

Coordination

· Work closely with procurement, production, quality assurance, and technical service teams.
