The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring information security measures to protect sensitive data and systems within the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to assess security risks, develop security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats and respond effectively.
- Implement security controls and tools to safeguard the companys data and assets.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the system.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations for systems and applications.
- Provide support for incident response activities and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong understanding of information security concepts, practices, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM systems, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and antivirus software.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
