Role & responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime or ERP software.
- Record all accounting entries, journal vouchers, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Perform monthly ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet schedules.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare payment proposals and maintain vendor reconciliations.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding receivables.
- Reconcile customer and supplier ledgers periodically.

GST Compliance
- Verify purchase and sales invoices for GST compliance.
- Reconcile books with GSTR-2B.
- Assist in preparation of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return, and GST reconciliations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of GST records and documentation.

TDS & Income Tax
- Deduct TDS as applicable under various provisions of the Income-tax Act.
- Prepare TDS workings and assist in quarterly TDS return filing.
- Issue and reconcile TDS certificates.





Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
- Account for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and scrap transactions.
- Reconcile inventory with stores and production records.
- Verify stock valuation and consumption reports.
- Coordinate with production and stores departments for inventory controls.

Banking & Cash Management
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements.
- Manage cash and petty cash transactions.
- Coordinate with banks regarding routine banking matters.

Payroll Support
- Assist in salary processing.
- Coordinate statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, and Qualified Tax (where applicable).
- Maintain employee reimbursement records.

Statutory & Audit Support
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist statutory auditors, internal auditors, cost auditors, and tax consultants.
- Prepare schedules and reports required during audits.

MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS repor
